Research & Practice activities at TTUHSC School of Nursing keep faculty and students on the edge of what's new and provides an avenue for enhancing clinical practice and education.  As part of its mission, the School of Nursing supports robust programs of faculty research and practice which focus on current health care challenges, issues, and trends especially those unique to the health care needs of West Texans. 
       The TTUHSC School of Nursing promotes an atmosphere of nurturance and support for the development and implementation of faculty research and practice activities.  Opportunities to integrate research and practice are fostered and they enrich faculty and student experiences.
       Faculty research & practice focus primarily on aging, diabetes, health disparities and health promotion.  These areas of emphasis target health care needs of West Texans.
